Très belle expérience, tout s’est très bien passé. Super guide, à l’écoute et très pédagogue. Les vins étaient excellents, nous avons d’ailleurs acheté 18 bouteilles ! La découverte du chai, de la cuverie et des tonneaux était passionnante. Visite réalisée avec mon mari, nous recommandons vivement !Très belle expérience, tout s’est très bien passé. Super guide, à l’écoute et très pédagogue. Les vins étaient excellents, nous avons d’ailleurs acheté 18 bouteilles ! La découverte du chai, de la cuverie et des tonneaux était passionnante. Natasha introduced us to the vines with a fascinating explanation of the soils, grape varietals and the history of the chateau. Then we moved on to the wine making process where we learned so much about the complicated art/science of producing great wine. And, Beautiful wine for the tasting. You must do this! My husband and I scheduled a wine and cheese tasting at Chateau Ferrand Pomerol and were overwhelmed by the hospitality and knowledge of our docent/guide Natasha. She started the tour next to the Cabernet franc grape vines explaining the history, successes and challenges of the vineyard. She then led us through the wine making and barrel aging process ending with a tasting of three wines along with three cheeses. We left feeling enriched and honored that we could share in the Ferrand story. La visite était vraiment super intéressante avec des explications très clairs, ce qui nous a permis d'apprendre pas mal de choses notamment sur les Pomerol et ce qui en fait la réputation ! Et bien sur la cerise sur le gâteau, la dégustation qui était parfaite avec des vins délicieux ! On pouvait vraiment bien comparer les différents vins ! Bref une experience au top du top, où nous étions en plus juste avec deux amis ce qui la rendait un peu privative ! Mercii beaucoup !La visite était vraiment super intéressante avec des explications très clairs, ce qui nous a permis d'apprendre pas mal de choses notamment sur les Pomerol et ce qui en fait la réputation ! If you are interested in one of the great wine appellations of Bordeaux I recommend you visit Chateau Ferrand in Pomerol. Our guide Berengere was very gracious and with an excellent background of experience her commentary was deeply informative. The Pomerol wines are superb and Chateau Ferrand carries that reputation of excellence well.
