We booked a tasting using ruedesvignerons (very easy) and we were on our way but running late. We called to explain that we would be late and the winery immediately accommodated us with a later tasting. When we arrived we were welcomed warmly with a great intro to the chateau and their associated chateaux (4 total). All run by the same team and then we were introduced to the differences through a horizontal tasting before trying an older vintage of their most famous wine. All in all a beautiful stop and lovely introduction to Pomerol by the winery Bonalgue. Highly recommended. We booked our tour last minute and had a fabulous time! It's a smaller vineyard but our tour guide was exceptional and incredibly knowledgeable and spoke excellent English! La visita en español fue genial, muy bonito el Chateau con los viñedos justo al lado. Los 3 vinos que probamos nos gustaron mucho, una sorpresa el blanco!!! We visited for a guided tour plus wine-tasting (in the dark). We were just a small group of 4, and our very enthusiastic guide was Baptiste, he gave us a very nice and informative tour around the estate, from the wineyards to the oak barrels. Un grand merci à Eveli pour son chaleureux accueil. Nous n'avons pas vu le temps passer tellement la visite était bien menée. Notre guide était compétente et passionnante. I had a nice relaxing lunch at Château Bonalgue, helped by nice weather. The location overlooking the vineyard is very pleasant, and the lunch, accompanied by a glass of wine was enjoyable.
