I had the chance to visit this beautiful chateau on a very hot day. Unfortunately, the guide was not very talkative and you had to ask questions to learn more about the chateau. They have a beautiful cellar and a great show room. I was able to taste their second and flagship wine which were both ver good. The tour of Chateau Kirwan's vineyards with Maria was very enjoyable and informative. Maria was an excellent guide and described the Chateau's important and particular terroirs within the Margaux appellation followed by a tour of the fascinating creative process of the grapes from vine to bottle. The history of the estate and region was also fascinating and the wine tasting that followed a true pleasure. I highly recommend a visit to Chateau Kirwan to others interested in the legendary Margaux area of Bordeaux.The tour of Chateau Kirwan's vineyards with Maria was very enjoyable and informative. Sarah was a great guide who provided warm hospitality, the appellation’s and this storied winery’s history. The wines are exceptional and the process for winemaking is both artistic and very disciplined. En vacances en Médoc nous avons visité le château Kirwan au coeur des prestigieuses parcelles de Margaux. Une visite du parc magnifique en guise d'amuse bouche qui precede les explications de Marie sur l'historique du chateau, très intéressant. Ensuite au pied des vignes et ces sols si particulier qui font ce vin puis visite des chais et explications sur l'élaboration de celui ci. Puis on termine par la dégustation du château Kirwan et son second vin. One of the best tours we had in our month in France: very informative and pleasant. The wines, especially the Grand Cru, were excellent. We booked a last minute visit on the day and were fortunate to have a tour and tasting entirely to ourselves. The tour was just for me and my wife so it was very personal and optimized. We were very well received and accompanied during the visit by someone with great knowledge of the history of the château and the production process. The wines we tasted were undoubtedly the best, perhaps because we were lucky enough to have two bottles of the 2015 and 2016 Grand Cru Classé open, which allowed for a special tasting. A highly recommended visit!The tour was just for me and my wife so it was very personal and optimized. Debería ser la cata en otra sala sin duda, y no de pie en recepción. Unos vinos de este nivel se merecen unos minutos en una sala adecuada, sin duda. Elaboran 2 vinos, y probamos ambos.
