Zeer vriendelijke mevrouw gaf de rondleiding met een logisch en duidelijk verhaal. Ze nam ons mee naar de wijngaard, de productie en de opslag, heel instructief. Nous avons réservé une visite au Château Marquis de Terme pour découvrir l’univers des grands crus classés. Nous avons été quelque peu déçus par la visite et par l’attitude peu professionnelle de notre guide. Aucun soucis avec le fait qu’elle soit en stage, au contraire, elle apprend un métier passionnant et complexe, mais le prix devrait être adapté car la qualité de la visite ne valait objectivement pas 35€ par personne.. par ailleurs les infrastructures et la qualité du vin étaient à la hauteur d’un grand cru classé.Nous avons réservé une visite au Château Marquis de Terme pour découvrir l’univers des grands crus classés. We were 2 couples visiting the Chateau. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed the tour of the vineyard (abbreviated due to weather) and the wine making and storage areas. The tasting was lovely, 3 of their wines, with all our questions answered by Pierre who was very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the visit and would like to come back in better weather! We were seeking a car-free non-touristy Medoc tasting experience and the Marquis de Terme 1855 course really excelled. Less than 15min scenic walk from Margaux train station, beautiful grounds, vineyards, courtyard restaurant and chateau Margaux right next door. Our private tour and tasting was great fun (fantastic knowledgeable and friendly host) and greatly demystified the Bordeaux classification system which has boggled my mind for many years. Arrivee en avance nous avons eu la chance de nous voir offrir un café dans la cour du château ce qui nous a permis de découvrir son magnifique cadre. La balade à vélo ainsi que la dégustation était très bien organisée et très bien commenté,un plaisir de partager un tel moment. We love the private tour! Maddie is a Margaux local and spoke about the tradition and the people side of the winemaking process. The tour was relax and we learned a lot through her. We felt pretty special to visit the plot and the facilities together. The wine samples selected were exceptional too. I highly recommend Chateaux Marquis du Termes. We love the private tour! We came out on the train from Bordeaux and walked to Château Marquis de Terme. We had a private tour and our host was wonderful and very informative. After the tour we completed a tasting and decided to stay longer to enjoy the outdoor seating and sun.
