Loved every moment here with our guide, Remy. Couldn't recommend more. Visited 6 vineyards during our time in Saint-Emilion and Pomerol, and this was by far our favorite. Excellent experience. We got into the details of the AOC, the regulations, the soils and its uniqueness, the vineyard practices, a tour in the winery itself and the tasting. On est très contents de ce moment passé chez Gombaude-Guillot. On a eu le droit à un accueil chaleureux et pro, on s’est sentis tout de suite à l’aise. La dégustation était super, on a eu un coup de cœur pour le Pomerol 2016. Les explications étaient limpides et bien rythmées, rien à dire ! On est très contents de ce moment passé chez Gombaude-Guillot. On a eu le droit à un accueil chaleureux et pro, on s’est sentis tout de suite à l’aise. La visite était très agréable, l'ambiance était plutôt détendue, j'ai bien aimé. On est pas des grands connaisseurs, mais les explications étaient simples et bien adaptées à notre niveau. First, the wanted to change the time. We paid for private tour but it wasn’t. The tour was mainly in French but we were English speakers. Finally, all wine glasses were dirty with grease and finger prints, the table was also dirty, and the wine experimental and not great. I don’t recommend this place. We did 18 chateau in our French trip. Gombaude Guillot was by far the most memorable for us ! It is great to see a traditional wine still being made. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Tour was more than just a conversation about the winery and the philosophy of the brand than a formal tour. Tasting was informative. Une magnifique visite, notre guide a pris le temps de tout nous expliquer sur la manière dont fonctionne Gombaude-Guillot. Une approche spéciale avec la biodynamie qui est très intéressante à découvrir. La dégustation était parfaite avec 4 vins dont 3 millésimes qui étaient vraiment magnifiques à découvrir.
