Très belle découverte à la maison Meukow ! La visite est à la fois instructive et conviviale, parfaitement adaptée aux familles. Notre guide, Maxime, s’est montré passionné, clair et très sympathique : il a su rendre la visite vivante et captivante. The tour was fantastic. Valentine was passionate about the cognac, and the information he provided was exceptional. Really good thought out tour showing how cognac is made, and no pressure to buy anything at the end following the tasting....although we did ha! We all really enjoyed the tour! Nous avons été agréablement surpris par la visite très explicative et par la prestation proposée, nous avons très bien mangé, tout était délicieux. Très instructive visite guidée où l'on apprend plein de choses passionnantes sur l'élaboration du cognac, depuis le raisin jusqu'à la mise en bouteille, en passant par toutes les étapes. Mention spéciale à Maxime, notre guide, très pédagogue et agréable, avec quelques petites touches d'humour ! La dégustation fut également très instructive (merci Maxime, maintenant grâce à vous je sais COMMENT il faut déguster un cognac !), les produits sont de très très haute qualité !! Excellent repas, ensuite, dans le restaurant attenant : cuisine extrêmement raffinée (mais sans être non plus "sophistiquée" !) , cadre très agréable et accueil souriant ! Excellent morning / lunchtime. We had a 10.30am tour with Max (who was very informative) which lasted almost until lunchtime where we had a reservation in the restaurant. The food was delicious and well presented and the service was good with a relaxed atmosphere and lovely surroundings. Very enjoyable and reasonably priced. We booked for ourselves and 2 friends. We had a great tour with Max as our guide - a very clever and creatively interesting way of explaining all the processes has been thought out. It is revealed to you step by step using video in different ways to bring it to life. The tasting afterwards warmed us up to a truly delicious lunch cooked by their great chef. What a treat on a lovely summer’s day in Cognac… reasonably priced too! We booked for ourselves and 2 friends. Very nice and warm welcome to the distillery. The 3 of us had the guide to ourselves and had a great tour. Very informative and interesting. Nice tasting of 3 drinks at the end. Had lunch at the restaurant which was also really good but recommended you book in advance as they only just squeezed us in. Car park at the distillery is useful too.
